How to remove candle wax from wood Untitled Document

Occasionally, the wax from our brightly colored candles drips onto our furniture, especially our wooden buffets, bookcases, and tables. In order to remove the wax drippings, simply apply an ice cube or ice pack to the wax to harden it. Gently scrape off as much wax as you can with a plastic credit card or other nonabrasive item such as a thin, dull butter knife or a smooth, plastic ruler.

Take paper towel about three sheets, put it over the wax on the table, and put your iron on warm and apply it onto the paper towel where the wax is, pick it up, fold the paper to a new spot and keep doing it until all wax is gone, Then clean the table and give it a good waxing.
Do the same thing with the rug, just make sure your iron is not on very high heat. When you get it all out of the rug, wash that area with dawn.
