Home Remedies for Miscarriage Natural and Herbal Treatments Untitled Document

Miscarriage is nothing actually it is a loss of a pregnancy without obvious cause before the 20th week. Most of the miscarriages are actually occurring during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. It is a common problem. About 15 percent of all known pregnancies end in miscarriage. About half of all conceptions are also believed to be lost, normally before the mother is aware she is pregnant. Many women may start to bleed and have pain. This bleeding can vary from being dark brown to being bright red and the pains can be cramping in the lower abdomen or in the back.

Home Remedies for Miscarriage

Asparagus (Asparagus racemosus)

The asparagus is known as the women’s ashwagandha for no mean reason. It is effective in treating most problems related to the female reproductive system. It is popularly known as shatavari in India. This herb can treat infertility and threatened miscarriages, among other benefits.

The diet must include whole, live foods. Herbs and other nutritional supplements may be used to enhance the diet. Fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, whole grains, sprouts, butter (not margarine), dairy products (if they are tolerated), nuts, seeds, organically raised animal protein (to avoid the hormones and antibiotics used in producing commercial animals) and yogurt are the types of foods to be included in the diet. This is one of the easiest home remedies for miscarriage.

Stressful exercises must be avoided. Especially activities that strain the groin area, such as lifting heavy weights, must be avoided. This could physically damage the fetus.

Drinking raspberry tea during pregnancy strengthens the uterus, which will coordinate contractions and shorten labor.

Boil 2 oz. wild yam and 1 oz. coltsfoot in 1 1/2 quarts of water for 20 minutes. Take 1 tsp for 1 every cup and have it 3-4 times a day. One of the effective home remedies for miscarriage.

No antibiotics must be taken during the pregnancy at all. This includes aspirin. Antibiotics can increase the heat of the body, which could be very harmful to the developing fetus. If there is some problem like headache, cold or fever, then natural remedies must be adopted instead of using antibiotics.

Take some amount of asafetida and dissolve it in water. This must be consumed once every day during the months of pregnancy. If a woman has a miscarriage before, then this asafetida water must be certainly given in that particular month. This is considered to be a very effective precaution against miscarriage.

Good natural source vitamins can also be used to prevent miscarriages and enhance the health of both mom and babe. Some that are considered to be essential are vitamin E, Zinc, Vitamin B6 and B-Complex. This is one of the best home remedies for miscarriage.

Yogic asanas such as sarvangasana, vajrasana, bhujangasana, shalabhasana, dhanurasana, paschimottashaha and trikonasana are highly beneficial in the prevention of miscarriage.

All foods that can aggravate the pitta must be avoided. This will lead to an improper digestive fire, leading to constipation. Constipation must be prevented during pregnancy at all costs.

Eating outside must be avoided as far as possible. When going out for a while, the woman must carry her own homemade lunchbox, or must subsist on ‘safe’ foods such as biscuits. Even water must be boiled and then consumed. These are the effective home remedies for miscarriage.
