Morning sickness or nausea or vomiting is a common disease which occur almost 89-95 percent of pregnant women between third and fifth month of their pregnancy. Though it is called as morning sickness, however, a pregnant lady may face this sickness throughout the day. It may be maximum during morning and declines gradually during day time. The reason behind morning sickness can be the hormone estrogen or there can be other genetic reasons as well. This article will explain various aspects of morning sickness and some of the most effective and commonly used home remedies for the treatment of morning sickness.

Home Remedies for Morning Sickness

Mix 1/2 tsp ginger juice, 1 tsp fresh limejuice, 1 tsp mint juice and 1 tsp honey. Drink this mixture 3-4 times in a day.

Mix 1 tsp of mint juice, 1 tsp of limejuice and 1 tsp of honey and drink it thrice a day.

Take about 15-20 fresh curry leaves and extract the juice. Add 2 tsp of fresh limejuice and 1 tsp of honey to it. Drink this mixture 3-4 times in a day.

Eat crackers or dry toast in the morning when you first wake up.

Have a small meal for about 4-6 times a day and minimize fluids consumption with meals rather drink small amounts of fluids (juices, milk, etc) frequently between meals and try not to keep your stomach empty to maintain the blood sugar levels constant.

Cabbage

Raw cabbage, cooked cabbage, cabbage juice, sauerkraut and sauerkraut juice are all excellent morning sickness home remedies.

Peach As A Natural Cure For Morning Sickness Home Remedies

Use the leaves or bark from the peach tree to make a tea. Mix no more than 1 teaspoon of peach bark or leaves to 1 cup of boiling water. Let it soak for about 10 minutes, then strain.

Foods rich in protein and complex carbohydrates must be included in the diet.

Drink wheat germ dissolved in warm milk, a few teaspoons each hour.

Put three drops of lavender essential oil and one of peppermint in a diffuser or humidifier to smell the air.

Take one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and one tablespoon honey in cold water before going to bed at night. This is the best home remedies for morning sickness.

Take teaspoon limejuice, a teaspoon mint juice, and a tablespoon sugar three times in a day.

It is better not to keep the stomach empty. Six small meals rather than three large meals are advisable.
