Home Remedies for Indigestion
Take an equal amount of black pepper, dried mint leaves, ginger powder, coriander seeds, cumin (jeera) and asafoetida (hing). Grind them together to make fine powder. Take one teaspoonful of this powder twice a day after meals.
Remedy Home Indigestion
Drinking buttermilk (lassi) after breakfast or lunch improves digestion. Adding roasted cumin seed powder and a little of salt into buttermilk enhances its effectiveness.
One of the simplest home remedies for indigestion is hot carbonated soda such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, ginger ale, or Sprite. When you drink these beverages at room temperature with no ice, the acid works to neutralize excess gasses and acids in the upper GI tract and in the stomach to relieve your indigestion. For best results, sip an eight ounce glass of un-iced carbonated beverage slowly as soon as possible after you notice the symptoms of indigestion.
Take 2-3 drops of garlic oil or ½ cup of Soya oil and gently massage your tummy.
Drink ginger tea after meal, as it aids in promoting digestion. Also you can go in for herbal tea prepared from blackberry, raspberry and mint.
In 1 glass of water, put some lemon juice or cider vinegar. Drink this mixture before having your meal.
Take a glass of water and mix juice of half lemon with a bit of soda bicarb for instant relief
Ginger stimulates the formation of digestive juices, which helps in breaking down the food faster in the stomach
A pinch of Asafetida powder with butter could be taken with rice before meal for good digestion and evacuation of bowels.

Anise
Aniseed or anise is one herb that can help your chronic digestive condition while at the same time have quite a few other benefits. You should use only the ash-colored anise that is referred to as green anise, European anise or sweet anise. The other two types of aniseseed are star anise and caraway, both of which should not be used for indigestion.
Chicory
Chicory root is a bitter herb that contains the ingredients endive and escarole. Boiling one and half cup of chicory root for five to ten minutes, and allowing it to cool so you can drink it as a tea may help correct indigestion, acid reflux or heartburn. Adding chicory root to a salad can also be a benefit to helping your indigestion.
