Home Remedies for Bedwetting
Bedwetting is considered to be an act in which the child involuntarily urinates during his/her sleep. Medically referred to as Nocturnal enuresis, bedwetting is a habit disorder. This is primarily of two types: primary enuresis, where the patient has never had dry nights and secondary enuresis, where it occurs after a gap of 6 months. It is a very common problem with the children .Boys are more likely to have this problem than the girls.

Make a clear and visible path to the bathroom. Put a night light in your child’s room, as well as in the bathroom so she or he can find it without difficulty during the night. This is mainly helpful if your child may be scared to go to the bathroom because of the dark.
Bring your child to the bathroom prior to you go to bed for the night. This may mean that you take a half-sleeping child to the bathroom and place him on the toilet. It may not totally stop bedwetting incidents but it will help train your child’s bladder to release on the toilet during the night.
One of the best home remedies for bedwetting is to eat two tsp walnut halves and one tsp raisins. before going to the bed.
You can also give massage inner thigh of your kid with St. John’s wort oil

Easiest remedy is to cut down a kid’s consumption of water or any other form of liquid few hours before he / she goes off to sleep.
Set a habit of your child going to the loo to pee before he / she goes to sleep.
If essential, wake the child up from sleep once during nighttime so that he / she can drain his / her bladder.
The problem of bed or sleep wetting may rise when the temperatures drop. So ensure that your child is in warm clothing.
Make him eat lots of green and leafy vegetables.
Give him food rich in fibers and protein.
Make the child chew cinnamon bark once a day.
Give him herbal tea (wormwood, oak bark, bear berry etc).
You can successfully try these above tips to cure the problem of bed wetting in your child. If your child still wets the bed, take him to a good doctor. Your doctor can give proper mental counseling to the child and also suggest a few alternative medical measures to curb this sleeping disorder.
