What is dehydration?
Dehydration can be defined as “the excessive loss of water from the body.” Diseases of the gastrointestinal tract can lead to dehydration in various ways.
Signs of Dehydration
The Signs of Dehydration: Symptoms of dehydration usually begin with thirst and progress to more alarming manifestations as the need for water becomes more ominous. The initial signs and symptoms of mild dehydration in adults appear when the body has lost about 2% of its total fluid.
Dehydration Treatment
To treat dehydration, you have to re-hydrate the body by drinking plenty of fluid.
If you are dehydrated, you will have lost sugar, salts and minerals, as well as water.
